Optical Sensor — Laser Tachometer for Balanset

Replacement or spare laser tachometer for use with Balanset-1A, Balanset-4, and Balanset-AR. Provides RPM measurement and phase reference during balancing by detecting reflective tape applied to the rotor shaft.

Usage Notes

Mount the sensor on a magnetic stand (sold separately) positioned 50–500 mm from the shaft. Apply a strip of reflective tape (included with Balanset kits, also sold separately) to the shaft surface. The red laser dot should hit the tape once per revolution. Avoid direct sunlight on the tape area for reliable triggering.
