Reflective Tape — Phase Reference for Balanset Tachometer

Self-adhesive retroreflective tape used as a phase reference mark for the Balanset laser tachometer. Apply a 1–2 cm strip to the rotor shaft — the laser sensor detects it once per revolution to determine RPM and phase angle.

Usage

Cut a 1–2 cm piece and apply it to a clean, smooth section of the shaft. The tape should be clearly visible to the laser sensor and not obscured by machine guards or adjacent components. Replace the tape if it becomes dirty, worn, or loses adhesion.
